thanks to m1k3y i discovered this great site called swurl which gathers together loads of different data trails that thread through your life and puts them together in attractive and interesting ways — the timeline above being a great example (click through the image to get there).

it is solid idea, but i dont think it is fully developed yet. thanks anyway i will keep an eye on it.
